Tata Motors is one of the most preferred SUV manufacturers in the Indian market. Tata vehicles are considered to be very reliable as well as very strong. But to maintain its popularity, Tata Motors is preparing to launch its Tata Sumo with a new facelift avatar, but no information has been officially revealed about it. Below are all the possible details about the new generation Tata Sumo facelift.
New Tata Sumo 2025 Engine
The upcoming new generation Tata Sumo facelift is going to be powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine similar to Tata Harrier and Tata Safari. Along with this, this engine option can get rear wheel drive technology and four wheel drive technology with six speed manual and six speed automatic transmission. The company will offer it with a petrol engine option where it is going to use about 1.5 liter petrol engine.
Design
The design of the new generation Tata Sumo facelift is going to be more premium than the current model. Its design is going to be very futuristic as well as bold and aggressive. It is going to get a new bumper with a newly designed grill at the front and a new LED headlight setup with LED DRL and fog light setup. In the side profile, it is going to get 19-inch newly designed diamond cut alloy wheels along with a revised bumper with new LED tail lights at the rear.
Features and Security
Inside the cabin, we will get a new dashboard layout with a redesigned central console and a new AC system along with Tata’s new twin-key people-stop steering wheel. Features include a large touchscreen infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster and wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Other highlights include panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, height-adjustable driver seat with ventilated seats, ambient lighting, wireless mobile charging, climate control, AC event for rear passengers and a premium sound system.
In terms of safety features, it will get six airbags with level two ADAS technology, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hail assist, hill descent control, traction control.

The Tata Sumo Facility price is expected to start around Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. However, no information has been revealed yet about when it will be launched in the Indian market.
